Woodie’s Auto Service
The Vision
Woodie’s Auto Service had historically expanded through renovation of existing auto repair facilities. After a less than exceptional experience on their first “out of the ground” facility, Brad Woodie contacted Doerre to discuss their next project. Doerre’s experience in constructing automotive facilities and their proactive approach were a breath of fresh air to the Woodie’s team. Ultimately, Doerre completed facilities in Ballantyne, Huntersville, and Davidson, NC.
The Project
The store pictured is located in the Ballantyne Area of Charlotte, NC, and is a 11,043-square-foot, single story, steel column, wood-framed building with brick veneer and a TPO roof. This store also features a finished sales and service office area, and an eight-bay service garage.

The Grand Opening
The Doerre team successfully constructed and “Created Grand Openings” for three stores for Woodie’s Auto Service in Charlotte, Huntersville, and Davidson. We are proud of our relationship with Woodie’s and excited to have been part of their success as they have become one of the most trusted automotive repair facilities in the Charlotte area.
