CoWork by Camden

Office, Renovation

The Vision

Doerre was asked by repeat client, Camden Property Group, to be part of the team to help create the space for the launch of their pilot co-working space concept in an existing 5,500 SF building in South End Charlotte, NC that formerly housed a dog boarding facility.

The Project

Doerre Construction converted the former Club Fetch dog boarding facility in Charlotte, NC, into Camden Development Group’s first co-working space concept called, CoWork by Camden.  The existing building on the property was purchased by Camden Property Group as part of a larger multi family/retail project.  Doerre was responsible for the demolition of part of the building and repairing extensive termite damage to the structure. Doerre was also responsible for the total interior and exterior renovation of the building, ultimately converting it to Class A co-work space for Camden Development Group.

The Grand Opening

The full interior and exterior renovation of this building made this facility into one the most desirable new co-working office destinations in Charlotte’s rapidly growing South End.  This allowed Camden Development Group to successfully launch CoWork by Camden and it serves as an excellent example as they grow the brand.
