Doerre Construction Completes Ground-Up Sherwin-Williams in Gastonia, NC

Doerre Construction is proud to announce the completion of a new ground-up Sherwin-Williams facility located at 1681 Delta Drive in Gastonia, North Carolina

This 10,230-square-foot building was constructed for a valued repeat client and includes:

  • 3,242 SF Mercantile retail sales floor

  • 6,610 SF hazardous/bulk tinting and stock area

  • Office and support spaces

  • Full site development including parking, sidewalk access, and dumpster enclosure

The project was delivered using Doerre’s Proven Process — beginning with proactive coordination during pre-construction and continuing through detailed execution in the field.

As a ground-up build, the scope included complete site work, slab-on-grade construction, structural framing, exterior façade, MEP systems, life safety coordination, and interior buildout tailored to Sherwin-Williams’ operational needs.

Working with repeat clients allows our team to build on established trust and shared expectations. Clear communication, accountability, and proactive problem-solving helped ensure the project was completed efficiently and ready to serve the Gastonia community.
