Big Dan’s Car Wash is expanding across the Southeast with a mission to provide fast, high-quality express wash service supported by reliable operations and a consistent customer experience. For their new North Charleston location, the client needed a ground-up facility that could handle high volumes, integrate specialized equipment, and reinforce their growing brand presence in a rapidly developing corridor. Their vision centered on durability, efficiency, and a seamless flow from entry to exit — ensuring customers receive the same outstanding experience Big Dan’s is known for at every site.
The Project
Doerre Construction partnered with Big Dan’s to bring this new express wash facility to life. The project included full site development, utility coordination, extensive underground infrastructure, and the construction of a modern wash tunnel designed around Big Dan’s equipment specifications. Our team executed the concrete, masonry, steel, and MEP scopes with attention to detail and performance, ensuring the building could withstand the demanding conditions of a high-volume wash operation.
We also coordinated vendor installations, collaborated closely with the owner’s operational team, and managed all onsite activities to deliver a high-quality facility that aligned with Big Dan’s brand standards. The result is a clean, efficient site layout with optimized traffic patterns, durable materials, and systems designed for long-term reliability.
