Urban Air Adventure Park

Renovation, Restaurant/Retail

The Vision

The Urban Air Adventure Park owners had a vision to convert a vacant Lowes Foods grocery store in Cornelius, NC into their second Charlotte, NC area location.  They wanted it to have an upscale feel so they partnered with the Doerre team to help achieve this vision.

The Project

This multifaceted project included the conversion of a 49,764-square-foot grocery store into the exciting indoor trampoline and adventure park complete with kitchen and event space it is now. The original kitchen, deli area, and freezers were demoed to make way for the attractions, new kitchen, eating area and event rooms. The project was a full interior renovation, including new electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems, and flooring.

The Grand Opening

The building now contains Urban Air Adventure Park’s newest location and is exceeding the owner’s and customer’s expectations.  They have multiple attractions, including bumper cars, virtual reality games, trampolines, zip-lines, climbing walls, and a ninja warrior course.  They also have 10 party rooms and the Urban Air Cafe.  We enjoyed working with Urban Air and their team to Create a Grand Opening For this exciting concept!
